Dona Ana Beach National Park is an easy 15 minute drive from Villa Cabomar. The beach is wide and has a left break for the surfers. The park features changing rooms, picnic tables with grills and a family of monkeys for your entertainment. A small admission fee is charged.
Of course, there is the endless beach just steps from the front door of Villa Cabomar. Puntarenas beach stretches for kilometers with fine volcanic sand and gentle surf. Carara National Park is a transitional zone from the dry Northern Coast of Costa Rica to the Southeast’s very humid coast; in fact, Carara is the only piece of land along the Central Pacific Area of Costa Rica.
